This deck has many one-offs to counter the encounter cards in Return to Dunwich Horror. If you feel that you want to rely more on Grisly Totem or Scavenging, add in another copy of them so you have 2x. For the Events, I went with the ones that have good icons, either a wild or double icons, so you can be flexible with your Minh boosts especially with the Totem in play.

Upgrades: Upgrade straight into Pnakotic Manuscripts and use it wisely (sometimes from your hand with Knowledge is Power). This will be a cornerstone and make you pass hard tests, after which you push it out or use Act of Desperation on it. Other upgrades include Grisly Totem (3) (risky if you get Beyond the Veil), upgraded skill cards and upgrading the Strange Solution and GLyphs. Shortcut (2) and Pathfinder are also great, even as one-offs.

Setup: Hard mulligan for Rook, Scavenging, Analytical Mind and Grisly Totem. If you get Rook, try to get enough symbols to solve the king in yellow and do it as soon as possible. Try to get both your weaknesses out of there early and deal with them. Then use Rook to get your other cornerstones while investigating and helping out your team.

Your role: You will be able to boost people by 3 or 4 on a lot of tests, no matter the icon. Blood-Rites are very flexible with Minh, especially when she needs to deal damage. Deal with Beyond the Veil by decking out early, or keep yourself from decking out by adding Blood-Rites and using your winging it. Perseverance coupled with Rook and Leather Coat can also help you tank the hit if you have to take it. Dont be afraid to commit Assets so you can dig them up with Scavenging, this is how it is intended to be to make sure you can refill your hand without drawing through too much of your deck. Stay close to your team to provide your icon boosts, card commits, and emergency options like beating someone up with a Fire Axe, using Cunning Distraction or healing with Logical Reasoning. When you aren't doing these things, get clues and scavenge your items back. When your fingerprint kit runs out of charges, you can push it out with one of the many hand slot assets included in the deck so that you're able to scavenge

Combat: This Minh has a couple of combat options. Instead of committing the Fire Axe, you can equip it and deal some damage with smart use of resources and commits. If you have the Fingerprint Kit or Pnakotic Manuscripts out, they work great as Act of Desperation targets, and even makes you able to scavenge them. Blood-Rites provide you another way of dealing damage, and some upgrades to SS and AG also help with enemies. If nothing else, you have a Cunning Distraction in there.

Tricks: When you have lots of assets equipped and keep your hand big, you can draw through your deck pretty fast. This deck has events and assets that help you negate the horror from reshuffling as well as some cards that are generally just nifty to recur. The most obvious ones are of course Crack the Case, E-Cache and Truth from Fiction, but feel free to add your own favorite events. Make sure that the icons are either double or flexible, and it will fit into the deck. The same logic applies to upgrades, and especially if you add Cryptic Research in there you can draw your deck very quickly, getting your upgraded deduction or upgraded ecache to reuse over and over.
