Here's what I did: I looked at a handful of other basic decks, in the general ballpark of what I was looking for. I sorted out the most popular cards in all those decks and put them together here in this deck. And I took Lantern instead of Flashlight for the combat utility that Lantern provides (especially if I can Scavenge it back after I use it... EDIT: I ditched Scavenging -- see below -- so never mind...).

We'll see how it goes. Suggestions always welcome.

So far I've played a couple scenarios with this deck: The Gathering and Midnight Masks. Both were a resounding success -- we got all possible cards into the Victory Display in Midnight Masks! So even though this is my first attempt at deckbuilding and I'm real new to the game, so far this deck is working out. I'm still open to suggestions though, especially for upgrades.

REGARDING: Scavenging When I first built this deck I included Scavenging, but then I ditched it because I don't have enough critical Items that it's worth it.

But I'm thinking of adding it back in so I can take off the Amulet and Scavenge it back in which would allow more shenanigans with playing Events twice. Because when you're wearing your Amulet playing Events sends them to the bottom of your deck rather than your discard pile. So being able to take it off (w/ Rabbit's Foot) and put it back on (w/ Scavenging) means those 16 Events in the deck are even more useful.

Easiest trick with the Amulet is just discarding the events for her Ability, potentially turning a fail into a success - then playing the event from the discard pile. (Because just discarding them won't trigger the amulet's forced ability to put them on the bottom of your deck)

Or Commit Intel report and look what I found to an Intellect test, probably succeed due to the +2 they grant, and next action play them from discard. Or Discard lucky first to get another token, THEN play it for the +2 if you still fail. Not play it asap.

Normally that card advantage is more than good enough that you dont need to juggle between Rabbits foots and amulet and vice versa, which in the long run, just costs you 1 action to play scavenging, 1 to play RF to ditch amulet, and later another one to replay amulet. Those 3 actions could just have been drawing 3 cards, probably getting you more bang for your action bucks. :)

PS: If you love Rabbits food and Amulet and want to run both, then Relic Hunter(3) is a great upgrade.
