I’m relatively new to The Arkham universe. I picked up playing at the start of the pandemic. My interest took off immediately as I was already heavily into Marvel Champions.
Deckbuilding with this game has been a struggle. I come from a background of other card games (Magic, Pokemon etc) but this game is a different monster.
Most of my play time has been preconstructed decks and suggested starter decks with few modifications or decks on this site that other much better players have come up with.
I picked up Revised Core, Dunwich Legacy, Edge of the Earth, Carcosa and recently the Scarlet Keys investigator pack. I’ve mostly ran Night of the Zealot and haven’t fully dived into any full campaigns. it was breaking my heart having all these great player cards and full campaigns to just run the same couple of scenarios.
Once I picked up The Scarlet Keys investigators, I decided to do grab an investigator and spend time making a deck.
This is the deck I came up with. I haven’t played it yet but just in some ghost draws it seems pretty capable of setting up free actions, extra card draw or just out right digging through your deck to get the 2-3 Sled Dog. That is the plan.
It took the greater part of a weekend to get here so hopefully it’s not terrible. Let me know what you think.
