I just put it together bit by bit, and now it's all this.
Wilson the multiple-handed handyman that gets to work with his Guard Dog whilst wearing a Wolf Mask. Sure, why not?
There are going to be many ways to build Wilson, but this deck aims to go full toolbox and treat his hand slots as fairly disposable. However, Tinker allows some added flexibility to ensure you can keep what you need.
-
Cards such as Flashlight, Lantern and Old Keyring will sing - all reduce shroud whilst also giving Wilson a +1 boost from his ability. Gravedigger's Shovel can be pitched for a clue if your mulligan has otherwise been unkind for clue tech.
-
Pitchfork and Sledgehammer are chiefly here to be thrown at enemies. This can be achieved from the discard pile via Pushed to the Limit, or thrown from hand once Ad Hoc has been attached to a more permanent weapon or tool (such as Survival Knife, Lantern or Gravedigger's Shovel).
-
Economy is tight, but cheap tools get discounts from Wilson's ability, and the combination of Emergency Cache, Daring, Guts, Perception and Glory should keep resources and card draw going.
-
Guts and Take the Initiative are there to protect Wilson's 6 sanity - save them for threats such as Rotting Remains.
For spending experience:
-
Chainsaw (4) is great. Lockpicks (1) upgraded with Fine Tuning (1) seems diabolical and I love it.
-
As soon as enough cards are in the deck with supplies, Cleaning Kit (3) unlocks a powerhouse. There is some wisdom to adding Cleaning Kit (0) to this starting deck, but it would currently only support Flashlight.
-
I cannot wait to throw Sledgehammer (4) at a boss.
