I have one question for you. Did you ever want to be as fast as lightning? Have you ever wanted to harness the power of the Speed Force, and move so quickly that your enemies only perceive a blur of superluminal energy flashing before their eyes? Well, Ursula will show you how to harness this awesome power. But you must use this power responsibly, as it can be a destructive, nuclear force in the wrong hands. You have been warned.
The goal is to fly around the map and suck up max clues, with as few actions as possible. I paired this deck with Kymani Jones to finally crush TFA. Everything in this deck is designed to end a scenario as quickly as possible, because Ursula ain't got no time for the encounter deck.
Your goal is to get Fieldwork and Pathfinderout as quickly as you can. If you get two, even better. Once you have an upgraded your Archaic Glyphs you'll be getting even more clues per test. Crack the caseis a fantastic source of resources to fund this and share the spoils with your mates. Use Mr. Rook to find those cards in your deck. Fine clothes was invaluable for parley actions in the first few scenarios, I later swapped it out to Grim Memoir.
First upgrade path will be to upgrade Shortcut to Pathfinder. This is your number one upgrade. Once you have Pathfinder, your deck is online.
Then upgrade Archaic glyphs to find extra clues per investigation. This will also free up a hand so that you can always hold two magnifying glasses. Remember that getting magnifying glass out is a fast action. Ursula ain't got no time to be using an action to play an asset. Next will be to upgrade your Chemistry set to Eon Chart for extra actions!
Luxury upgrades are Studious for an extra card in your hand, I've got a plan!, Magnifying glass, Perception.
No Stone Unturned is well worth the 10 XP. It came in clutch to get my partner's weapon in hand or to fish out whatever card I needed. Once you get this, you can swap out Mr. Rook for another ally, he won't be needed anymore.
This is not a balanced deck! Biggest weaknesses is middling head, so dealing with the encounter deck can be tricky. Your skill cards can help mitigate the encounter deck a little. However, the goal is to complete the act deck in a flash, before you have to draw from the Encounter deck. You should have a strong fighter nearby to handle any pesky enemies. But honestly, you often don't even have to bother evading enemies. Pathfinder and her signature ability allows her to move and gather up clues without triggering attacks of opportunity. With fieldwork and archaic glyphs, she can just take all 4 clues in a location without using a single action. Ain't nobody got time to evade.
This deck really shined in City of Archives, the mother effin' scenario that always sees me dead. With Pathfinder and Fieldwork out, Ursula was able to gather clues with a base skill level of 2. Suck it, Yithians! Ursula ain't got no time to be hangin' out in an alien body.
