Father Mateo Cuts Loose at Carnavale

Father Mateo's investigation into the strange murders in Arkham led him all the way to Venice Italy to uncover the dark plot simmering beneath the surface of all the revelry. After checking in with his old pen pal the Abbess Allegria Di Biase at the San Marco Basilica, he struck out on his own wearing his finest priestly attire. Using some ritual candles and a flashlight to light the way, he hoped to uncover the seedy underbelly of this celebration.

The theme here is of course holy assets and a holy character starting out at a holy site. Items like the rosary, ritual candles, st hubert's key all reflect that. Additionally since this is a party at night, I thought it made sense to dress nice and bring a light source to get around. The ritual candles aren't that great but they fit the theme. The deck is relatively well equipped for some of the challenges of this scenario, in particular the fine clothes should help pass the parley tests and the astral travel should cut down on circling the full set of locations. He might struggle with enemies if he doesn't see shriveling and paddling out of there might also be a bit tough but it should still be a pretty fun challenge.
