A support/search build for Carolyn. Heath cards are here for obvious purpose, saint hubert/doctor/magnifying glass allow big lore boost. Candle compete witch flashlight for a slot. The deck is rather expensive but doctor and carolyn abilities allow this type of build.

Aug 29, 2018 Monologued · 1 Nice deck. Is perception needed? If you get all your items out, you already have 8 intelligence and you have deduction if you need the stat boost. Clarity of mind is great, but you can also use Liquid Courage to heal twice in one action (4 times) - used in conjunction with fearless or inspiring presence you can heal Foolishness in one action. It might be worth giving her a weapon or evasion tool of some kind - like Shriveling, Machete, or Mists of R'lyeh - in case she gets stuck with a tough enemy. You can combine Machete with Mind Over Matter to do real damage.
Sep 04, 2018 JemJaime · 8 Thanks for the suggestions. After playtest, I've removed 1 perception. Can be usefull when item are not on the table, but 2 is too much. I'm not fan of liquid courage, the two will test is risky, clarity of mind allow low will investigator healing. The fighting spot is a tricky point. Machete alone seems too weak, and take too many slots if combined with mind over matter. I use "i've got a plan" in order to one shot a big threat but myst of r'lyeh could a interresting alternative for multiple dodge, maybe a bit weak without saint Hubert key on the table.
