Jenny Barnes, Ditz

I arrive for our first Dunwich session more than a half-hour late, I haven’t rebuilt our decks after borrowing cards for mine and my wife’s Forgotten Age campaign and I still need to set up the scenario. I’m already frazzled, and then the store owner wants to join in because he’s had no customers all day.

I pass him the rogues, he picks Jenny and I slam together this deck from the cards that aren’t already in use by Daisy, Zoey, Mark, Sefina or “Ashcan” in this and other campaigns.

It amused me, so now I share it with you. The thematic core of this deck is Dumb Luck and Oops. She slips and falls, but it works out for her. I like to imagine her as a manic Meg Ryan or, if you’re feeling cruel, Mr. Bean. For bonus points, there’s a dress wearing montage in Fine Clothes and sometimes things work out great with a Double or Nothimg and “Watch this!”
