Standalone (19 XP) Deck for the Blob that Ate Everything at PAX Unplugged 2019.
The swarm of allies approached worked well for Pete. He was able to use A Chance Encounter to play a Guard Dog out of Mark's discard pile. He later had Miss Doyle and Zeal for a full animal ensemble.
With both Guiding Spirit and a Magnifying Glass, Duke was able to sniff out clues with ease.
Pete also contributed a fair amount of damage to the blob and its many pieces throughout the scenario. One particularly favorable allowed him to make 3 attacks with Duke in a critical turn for 6 damage total.
Sadly, neither Yaotl nor St. Hubert's Key were ever played, and most of the Desperate cards were just discarded as food for Duke, but the deck still worked out.
