Having survived The Circle Undone on her own, Amanda proved her worth to me. Hey flexibility makes her well suitable for solo play, as she can handle pretty much anything the encounter deck throws at her.

Just don't play her in Dunwich. She does like drawing cards.

For combat the deck relied on events only: two copies each of "I've got a plan!" and Occult Invocation. But as she had no problem going through her deck at least once, each of those events could be of use an additional time. Momentum proved crucial against big enemies that couldn't be defeated with a single event: Amanda could then just finish them of with basic Fight actions with a good chance of success.

I stuck with two copies of Plan of Action for the entire campaign just to test it out. Unsurprisingly, turns out it's a less good Unexpected Courage most of the time.
