Dark Horse Patrice

This was the second iteration of a Patrice Hathaway deck I tried to build. I ran this deck through the first mission of Return to Night of the Zealot with a friend of mine (he was running Tommy Muldoon).

The first run I did with Patrice, I tried using spells, but found that they were too cumbersome. After some brainstorming with my friend, we decided to try a Dark Horsebuild, and man did that work!

I went from being dead weight to doing a bit of everything while still getting most of the clues! After getting set up with Fire Axe, Madame Labranche, and Dark Horse, I was able to pass between 0 and 2 resources with ease, turning Dark Horse off and on while still playing the cool events. If I ran into any enemies, I was able to deal with them. Before I ran out of deck, I even managed to kill off the Watcher from Another Dimension while it was still in my hand!!! Going from a fight of 2 to a fight of 7 with Fire Axe and Dark Horse felt amazing!

I haven't gotten a chance to look into how to upgrade this deck yet, but as is, it really did work! And, yes, even Able Bodied managed to be useful. In theory, I would upgrade one Madame Labranche into a Miss Doyle, both Holy Rosary into Four of Cups, Prophesy into Rise to the Occasion lv3, Defiance to Defiance lv2, and add Charisma. Beyond that, I am not sure what I would do.

The one change I would make at this point is try and find a way to squeeze in Fortuitous Discovery. Probably drop both "Look what I found!" and Take Heart or Last Chance for those.
