Shred enemies? That's a paladin.

Tank damage? That's a paladin.

Fight enemies off your friends? That's a paladin.

Attack Zoey's doggo? Ohh, you better believe that's a Paladin.

This Zoey deck has one goal, and one goal only: Feed the blade.

Enemy at your location? Feed the blade. Enemy engaged with a friend? Feed the blade. Enemy attacking you? Feed the blade. Zoey doesn't try and hide her weaknesses here; all she does is kill enemies. It's what God tells her to do, and like any good paladin, she does this all whilst protecting her friends.

How it works is very simple: fight. If you don't have a weapon, throw Tetsuo Mori in front of an enemy or use Prepared for the Worst help find one. Guard Dog, Survival Knife, and Vicious Blow all help to deal extra damage. Dodge and "If it bleeds..." helps mitigate horror.

To play this, you have to listen to the blade. That is, if there are no enemies, find some. On the Hunt, "Let me handle this!", and Drawn to the Flame all function to keep you busy and your blade satiated.

This version of the deck was made with The Dream Eaters in mind, so cards like Oops! and Survival Knife function to help defeating swarms. If swarming isn't a problem for you, cards like Scrounge for Supplies help to keep cycling doggos, Delve Too Deep to boost XP, or Taunt in high player counts may be useful.
