Played the circle undone along with Mark Harrigan and a desperate Patrice Hathaway.
Many bad scenarios, manly bad endings, there were only I think scenario 5 and 6 that we did extremely well. Took a detour to New Orleans to get me a curse that was game-breaking'ly good.
Last scenario we got defeated by doom on azathoth, we lost too many time setting up and discovering fake locations, barely reaching act 3. It didn't help that we rejected our fate, denied help from the coven, etc. that we ended up with only 2 tally marks.
With Monstrous Transformation online, Miss Doyle was almost useless. But the combination of the two, along with trial by fire, makes almost every opening hand a good-enough hand to start doing things.
Playing Small Favor, Intel Report and Sneak Attack/Manipulate Destiny with Double, Double drains your resources, even with Easy Mark and Emergency Cache. For that reason I eventually took Money Talks and Well Connected out of the deck. The card draw was average considering easy marks and e-caches.
Scrounge for Supplies and Resourceful is your recursion combo.
Encounter protection was awful until we got enough experience to add Sure Gamble, but the combination of Dig Deep and "You handle this one!" made it acceptable sometimes, but some cards you just have to take it regardless.
Overall, with Double, double; Leo De Luca, Lola Santiago, and those rogue cards, I could most of the time out-damage Harrigan, and sweep up 5 clues in a turn with actions to spare. This was an amazing deck and some scenarios I would have to carry, dealing with the act by myself.
