Tennessee Sour Mash, Rise to the Occasion, and Steadfast will help deal with Treacheries that require . Grisly Totem is great because Silas will be committing skills frequently. Old Keyring, Inquiring Mind, True Understanding, Perception, "Look what I found!", and Belly of the Beast will all help with clue-gathering. Meat Cleaver and Peter Sylvestre due to Silas' low sanity. Track Shoes and Trench Coat for the agility boost and will help with evades until he gets a good weapon set up, and also to evade enemies at clue locations while getting set up for Belly of the Beast.

Weaknesses: low means treacheries will hurt. Low will make clue-gathering difficult if you don't get the right cards. No Emergency Cache or other ways to gain resources could make for a resource-poor early game.
