Failed actor William Yorick was skint and needed a job.
He was forced to move to Arkham, but had to get rid of half his stuff before doing so - he was too poor to afford a truck.
A nice old lady was kind and threw him a dime here and there to tide him over. He saved a tiny bit to get himself a very useful book full of discounts that he used to grab himself some useful tools. Whatever little money he had left, he would stretch as much as possible - though sometimes he was forced to sell what little he had left just to be able to survive one more day. But that was ok, he could just dig through the dirt and find something new.
His life as in the theatre seems like a distant memory now; his masks the only reminder of the life that could have been.
The cemetery is his stage now. The dead, his audience.
Mutis. And scene.
Gave this 0 XP deck a trial run on Carnevale of Horrors (Standard) and managed to win with R2 at 5 XP Victory. Granted, I think I probably got the best possible opening hand after mulligan with Dark Horse, Fire Axe and Mariner's Compass from the first moment, and Short Supply got rid of my Random Basic Weakness (but it also got rid of Bury Them Deep, which is not really a problem in Standalone).
Is it perfect? No. But it did work quite well in a scenario that can be quite challenging. Considering it was a 0 XP deck, I'm pleasantly surprised and willing to take this deck to a large campaign.
