This Mark is here to fight everything calm and collected since he has a plan. Need a Shortcut? Check. Hiding Spot? Got it. Is he Ever Vigilant? Yup. And with enough supply and ammunition cards to swap in his plan if needed. When Mark wants to guarantee a success with his Lightning Gun, he'll start the scenario with an "Eat lead!" under the plan. If fighting monsters isn't his thing, get him some heals or buffs instead of Custom Ammunition. Personally, I like playing with two shortcuts for large maps where Mark is needed everywhere; and may start with only one Custom Ammunition under the plan.

Stand Together makes Mark happy, but should be the first to go if he's playing healer.

Notably, Prepared for the Worst isn't here. While a great card to search for a Lightning Gun, it takes up a spot in the plan that's better suited for helping Mark play his guns. Plus, with a Beat Cop and Sophie, he can hold his own until he gets a gun out. Using Stick to the Plan reduces your playable deck size by 3, which slightly increases your odds of drawing or mulliganing for a gun in your starting turn. (Of course, if you need to reallocate experience, swap out a Lightning Gun for Prepared for the Worst and make his deck all tactic and supply cards! ;D)
