Built primarily around getting out Timeworn Brand as efficiently as possible and giving as much mythos protection to your team and yourself as possible. The mythos protection at scenario one extremely strong. Sixth Sense allows us to investigate with a stat line of 4 which and with a Brother Xavier gets us up to 5. Late game we consistently play Timeworn Brand action one. Also late it is possible to get out two Timeworn Brands each equipped with an Enchant Weapon dealing a potential of 10 damage over two actions testing at 12 for each attack. The only potential weakness of this deck is agility checks but most of the time they don't deal sanity damage so they are likely to not make a difference towards us. We run Ward of Protection to counter uncomfortable treachery cards. I would also recommend taking one permanent sanity and one permanent damage from In the Thick of It

Upgrade Discussion:
Uses 28 experience total. after the first Timeworn Brand each 5 experience roughly doubles the likely hood you draw a Timeworn Brand turn one up until 15 experience has been used. After this we get better versions of the cards we use with Stick to the Plan, which save us an action turn one and get us an extra 3 resources when we kill the first monster we summon with On the Hunt. Then replace the unupgraded versions of these cards with 2x Enchant Weapon to decrease dead draws late game and increase our damage potential against tougher enemies.

Apr 23, 2025They are both good, but Timeworn Brand can consistently kill a 4 health enemy in one action while the cyclopean hammer can only consistently kill a 3 health enemy, I think that that breakpoint alone is a good enough reason to run it over Hammer. Also against any elite enemy, the Hammer comparatively is worse. |
Apr 23, 2025We use the word consistently very differently from each other. The Timeworn Brand can do it ONCE per game. After that it is only a worse more expensive Blessed Blade. |
