This build is made for a multiplayer campaign "The Path to Carcosa" I plan to start with my trusted fellow in the near future. Ursulas task is to get clues. She has definitely no fighting abilities. This is my third deck after playing the campaign in the core set with "Skids" O'Toole and the Dunwich Legacy with Mark Harrigan. We played all the campaigns on normal mode.

I apologize for all mistakes I make in this small summary, as english is a foreign language for me and it´s quite late in the evening.

I don´t know if this is a good deck, as I have never played a Seeker before and also never have played "The Path to Carcosa", but the thrill of the unknown is part of the fun playing this wonderful game.

I made some notes for you (and me, of cause) concerning my deck:

  • Jake Williams and Shortcut are used for reliable evasions (and in the case of the latter for movement, enhancing Ursulas signature skill).

  • Unexpected Courage, Eureka! and Inquiring Mind are flexible tools for skill tests.

  • Fieldwork, Flashlight, Magnifying Glass and Working a Hunch should support Ursula in her most important role: finding clues. Working a Hunch is quite a good card because it has the fast keyword and gathers you a clue without the need to grab in the chaos bag.

  • Logical Reasoning is meant for healing horror. If it´s not needed this way it has two for skill tests. The Strange Solution will be upgraded to Strange Solution for healing damage.

  • Every self-respecting explorer needs a Backpack and as Ursula has a lot of items she has two of them. Maybe Jake Williams is carrying one. The backpacks are there for getting items quick into play and for greater flexibility in managing the slots and the hand cards.

  • Although there are not much expensive cards in this build, two Emergency Cache should be helpful. Another kind of economy support is Unearth the Ancients, as it can be used to put more expensive assets into play at a discount. Otherwise it has also two valuable icons for skill tests.

  • Ursula has found some strange relics and brought them along. Maybe they are helpful in the future. One of them is The Chthonian Stone. It is quite expensive but i want to test this card (after all, Ursula is an explorer). The Tooth of Eztli (poor Eztli - Ursula has both of them) should support skill tests on treachery cards.

  • Dr. Elli Horowitz is the person, Ursula is talking about all the relics she finds and she supports her in managing the different relics.
