Starting a run of Arkham Horror tCG with a couple of friends, from Night of the Zealot, through Dunwich Legacy to The Path to Carcosa and beyond(?). This deck is one of three starting decks built from 2x Core Sets. Each intended to shine in their particular way, and hopefully cover each other's blind spots with regard to game mechanics.

Deck 2: Daisy Walker, the Librarian Sorceress Supreme

Modus operandi: Discover clues and prevent bad things from happening
Daisy is built to prevent the walls of the Mythos from caving in and crushing the group. Her tomes and rituals will keep the group healthy and mitigate those late game draws of disastrous Weakness or Treachery cards.

Playing the deck:
Mulligan for Old Book of Lore and Daisy's Tote Bag
Split actions between investigating and drawing cards until the tome engine is up and running. Ideally you want to use Old Book of Lore twice each turn, with two copies on the table. Either to draw for yourself or for your fellow investigators. Friends don't let friends draw Weaknesses in the late game. Once the tomes are rolling, get Scrying and Ward of Protection ready to soften the blows from the Agenda deck. Keep in mind that Medical Texts makes Daisy practically immortal, so if Skids (deck 3) wants to duck out and chuck Dynamite Blast into the location where Daisy is, that's manageable as she can reliably spend a turn healing up to 4 damage.

Problems:
Daisy can't fight, has no weapons and isn't great at running away either. Eventually she can bite back with Shrivelling, boosted by Holy Rosary and Arcane Studies. But she is used to navigating book shelves and cafés, not headbutting ghouls. Hyperawareness and Manual Dexterity will help avoid baddies but Daisy will generally need others to fight her corporeal battles.

Daisy's companions:
Deck 1: Roland Banks, Miskatonic Bladerunner
Deck 3: Skids O'Toole, Reconnoiteur Extraordinaire
