This deck is used in a 2 player game along with Jim Culver's "Skill test?! PFFT, what skill test?" and is built for FIGHTING ENEMIES and trying to deal with the amount of WILLPOWER CHECKS the mythos deck never stops forcing in your face.

DECK GOALS & CARDS

  1. Lets get ready to rumble

    • Zoey Samaras - Her ability to get resources when you get engaged with an enemy is very good for building up a good resource economy for you to make earlier plays with the high resource cards like Beat Cop, Rite of Seeking, Dynamite Blast and if need be .45 Automatic.

    • Zoey's Cross - This card is brilliant in my opinion because of the ability. You get a resource from Zoey's reaction and can instantly spend it to exhaust this card and do damage to the enemy without even performing an action.

    • Machete - This is hands down the best weapon so far, you want to mulligan to get this card first thing due to its 3 cost and the +1 and its +1 damage when fighting a single enemy who's engaged with you allows you to clear out enemies one place at a time.

    • Beat Cop - This is really the only ally I believe you need, you can discard him to do last ditch damage to an enemy but mostly for the upgraded version later on which is amazing.
  2. Mental fortitude

    • Physical Training - The amount of willpower tests in the mythos deck a fair amount of the time is unfair and this card is literally designed for Zoey, you mostly want to use resources to guarantee she won't receiver horror from the mythos deck.

    • Rite of Seeking - Since Zoey is absolutely terrible at might as well completely ignore all intellect investigations with this, and yes losing the rest of your actions is never good. Just draw tokens better.
  3. Events

    • Dodge - Really helpful while fighting a high sanity hitting enemy and should be saved for if you fail a combat check, which should be very rare.

    • Drawn to the Flame - Needed for times when you neither have Rite of Seeking in hand or it is out of charges.

    • Dynamite Blast - BOOM GOES THE DYNAMITE It's just fun throwing this into an adjacent location before entering and finishing the fight.
