I would like to share my consideration while creating the deck of Lily Chen.

First of all, my Lily Chen is the ADC and SUP in the team. So, I go for the Discipline which gives Lily 5 immediately. Also, Discipline gives us a chance to have +5 skill value in a skill test which allows us to handle different situations more flexibly. Sometimes, Lily can investigate if need.

As a ADC, we need to maximize Lily's attack ability. Make sure there is a Dragon Pole in the starting hand. It gives Lily +1 to +3 while fighting. That means we can hit with 8 , or even 13 by using Discipline ability.

If can't, Enchanted Blade is a good alternative at the beginning. It gives Lily +1 to +2 and +1 damage while fighting. But, a problem arises: Enchanted Blade occupies both arcane and hand slot. This problem can be solved by Bandolier and Familiar Spirit. They give us an additional arcane slot and 2 additional hand slots, and they fill with different slots (i.e. Body and Ally). That means we can own them simultaneously.

How about we can't find any one of them in the early game? Prepared for the Worst is a good way to search for them.

Back to the Dragon Pole, the key of the deck. It also gives you +1 damage if you hold at least 2 arcane assets which is great. Arcane Initiate helps us finding the spells like Healing Words, Mists of R'lyeh and Shrivelling which can fill the arcane slots. Even if we can't find any one of them, there are other spells in the deck like Spectral Razor, Voice of Ra and Ward of Protection, we may usually gain a card.

The reason why I purchase In the Thick of it is that only 5 level 0 cards are allowed in Lily Chen's deck. Having In the Thick of it, we can include more cards earlier. So can we get the second Discipline earlier. Book of Psalms and Healing Words help to compensate these 2 trauma and increase the survival rate of the team which makes Lily a good SUP.

As a SUP, skills with ? icons are higher recommended. So, I prefer Unexpected Courage and Prophesy. If we own a Arcane Initiate, Prophesy can gain an additional ? icon easier. Safeguard can make sure we are at the same location with our teammates, so that we can commit cards for them, and protect them from being engaged by enemies.

Another card to support teammates is Rite of Sanctification which reduce the cost and help them to save resources. To support Rite of Sanctification, Blessed Blade and Book of Psalms are chosen to keep adding tokens.

Finally, check if there is any empty slot which are the Accessory and Tarot slots. Perfectly, we still have 1 exp which can purchase Ace of Swords. As for the Accessory, I go for Holy Rosary which increases Lily's by 1. Hopefully, we can handle more encounter cards. For those could not be tackled, Ward of Protection can cancelled some of them.
