Built and tested for true solo play.

General deck idea: Passive stat boosting assets because true solo means 1 investigator has to do and "tank" everything. Plus big impact cards that can really swing the game back your way when it's all going to hell. Also, Jenny Barnes always does it with Double or Nothing style.

----Why Dr. Milan Christopher over Leo De Luca? While an extra action is generally always more useful, in practice with this deck I have found the +1 intellect a greater help in getting clues which you can't rely on others to do. Think of his +1 resource/ successful investigate as paying back for his cost quickly, and any more gained as a bonus to fuel Hard Knocks. A small upside is that he helps with Searching for Izzie too.

----Double or Nothing fuelled by Hard Knocks, and whatever cards you can commit from hand, this card can really save you in many situations. Great against bosses too. Backstab and Vicious Blow are here to really synergise with Double or Nothing. The rest of your weapons are also great with Double or Nothing and the stat boost provided by Hard Knocks. It's good to dump your entire hand to deal 4-6 damage to a tough creature you can't afford to engage for too long.

---Upgrade Opportunist and Unexpected Courage to Sure Gamble and Hot Streak or Bulletproof Vest as you see fit.

---Elusive is a real dark horse card. Saves a lot of time especially since it's a fast action, and can buy you time in many combat sticky situations if you are caught flat-footed and without the right cards. Really helps with Searching for Izzie too if you find yourself drawing it in a campaign's early scenario and have to actually complete it.

---Mull for Dr. Milan Christopher, Hard Knocks, Holy Rosary, in that order.

Nice write-up. Fair to say that without Double or Nothing Jenny's going to be in for a rough time, combat-wise? What's the switchblade doing in this deck? I'd be tempted for sneak attack over switchblade, particularly as Jenny can always afford it - love to know the reasoning behind it...

7 weapons generally means good chance to get 1 early, which in a solo game I find useful.

Switchblade over Sneak Attack also because you don't really have time to evade enemies, better to just dispatch them if you can.

Switchblade can work well with Double or Nothing if you really don't have any other weapons available. 4 damage if you can land it.

Switchblade is also agility fodder if I draw it late game and I want to Backstab.

Switchblade has fast, and in solo games you really really appreciate fast keywords. You can actually hold off on playing a weapon and just use your clicks to explore if you draw switchblade early.

Jenny relies more on Hard Knocks for combat than anything else I find, which is why I like to mull hard for it. It's the quickest way to convert Jenny's passive ability into something that actually helps you out immediately. Double or Nothing, Overpower, Vicious Blow and the bonuses from the weapons are good stuff to stack up to blow all in 1 go for bigger monsters.
