This is not your typical Lola deck, and power gamers will point out that other investigators can play Big Hand better, but I think it's a fun variation that's easy to pilot by Lola standards. It would play well paired with a strong fighter who can tank some hits and Safeguard you.

In short, you stack Myriad cards using Dream-Enhancing Serum, which powers the boosts on Celaeno Fragments. In theory, you could have fifteen cards taking up only five slots! Double your Serum for double the card-drawing fun.

With so many Myriad cards, you don't need traditional Big Hand assets like Arcane Enlightenment and Laboratory Assistant. That means less set-up and more deck space for cards that advance the game.

You'll stay in a Seeker role most of the time, but the stat boosts from the Fragments, Hawk-Eye Folding Camera, and Whitton Greene are active even when you switch to Survivor or Rogue to play those juicy multi-clue Events.

The Fragment and the Segment of Onyx trigger Whitton's static boost and are targets for her searches. I chose her over Dr. Milan Christopher because she adds some card draw and the Events in this deck (including Improvisation) generate a lot of economy.

You'll probably use only your Easy Marks and Improvisations with the Crystallizer of Dreams, but having the Agility and Wild icons on tap offers great Mythos protection.

I'd probably hoard my Segment of Onyxes and Three Aces until the final Act (assuming you're following Taboos). The A Glimmer of Hopes are super easy to cycle--those and the Fortuitous Discoverys create their own minigames.

Weaknesses:

The Tabooed Crisis of Identity is especially tame in this deck: Discard a Segment or Ace and you'll redraw it later, likely triggering the Serum! If you're in Survivor, toss in a Fortuitous Discovery or A Glimmer of Hope--these are at worst a minor, temporary setback with a prompt payoff.

Because you will cycle the deck so often, it's ideal to get a random weakness that stays in play with few or no consequences.

Mulligan:

Dream-Enhancing Serum is the key. Dig hard for at least one. Once it's in play, it makes finding everything else easy because your card draw engine just keeps accelerating.

Alternatives to consider:

In a low-XP campaign, Down the Rabbit Hole](/card/08059) is worth considering.

Especially since this deck relies on In the Thick of It, you'll probably want soak, which I've omitted. It's possible you could cycle Whitton often enough to get by. The Accessory and Body slots are available for Coats and Teddy Bears, in which case I'd probably cut the Crystallizer and "Look what I found!".

If you want to help with fighting and take a little responsibility for the consequences of your own choices (i.e., the Guardian of the Crystallizer), you could take Occult Lexicon in place of the the Hawk-Eye Folding Camera. And, hey, look: the Blood-Rites are (effectively) Myriad!

Upgrades:

The World • XXI would be my first upgrade since it puts this deck into turbo.

I'd use Lucid Dreaming to find the second Serum.

Studious probably speaks for itself.
