This is a starter version of my Finn Underworld Support deck that aims to use Fence alongside Sawed off Shotgun & Lupara for action efficient fighting. The thin deck design space allows you to load up on assets, investigate to make money and scavenge back your guns all while reliably cycling your suite of succeed-by skill cards and events.
A pinnacle turn when you have your leveled up deck might look like the following:
- Draw an enemy during the mythos phase
- : Free evade using finn's ability, get a money or draw a card from pickpocketing.
- Action 1: Investigate with Burglary + High Roller and tossing in Opportunist + Momentum skill check at 8 (Base 4 + bonus 4) vs 3 shroud. Use Gregory Gry and say you'll succeed by 2. Draw a -3 and earn 6 resources also pick up your used Sawed-Off Shotgun via scavenging and also search the top 2 of your deck for a card with Lucky Cigarette Case
- : Use Fence to play your Sawed-Off Shotgun
- Action 2: Shoot the enemy (-2 difficulty thanks to Momentum and 1 shot them using Hard Knocks to predict a good range of success ( holding Daring Maneuver to ensure a 1 shot kill.
- Action 3: flex spot where you can Pay Day for 4, Contraband to add 2 ammo to your shotgun or take a swig off of Liquid Courage if you're in need of a heal.
A more defensive combo is as follows:
- Draw a test mythos card, add Liquid Courage and swig Tennessee Sour Mash to get you up to 5. Daredevil into Opportunist getting you up to 7. Succeed the test and keep your Opportunist.
- Action 1 move to a new location
- Action 2 investigate with Burglary at +2 from Fieldwork add +4 from High Roller and your newly acquired Opportunist and Deduction grab $8 and a clue (thanks to Gregory Gry) This can trigger Scavenging to get back your Liquid Courage which you then use Fence to get into play free
- Action 3 swig off of your liquid courage and heal 2 horror.
