Keeping Up the Pressure
This deck is designed around enemy management. Peter Sylvestre and Cherished Keepsake help Silas soak Horror, while Steadfast and Rise to the Occasion help with Willpower tests. Drawing Thin and Take Heart both provide an economy boost (especially with easy-to-handle monsters), Perseverance helps with all-around survivability (esp. considering the 2 if it's burned), and Quick Thinking adds some extra actions. Resourceful helps him make the most of his soak cards, allowing him to pull something/-one back from the discard. Rounding out his equipment, he's equipped with a sturdy Leather Coat, a pair of Meat Cleavers, and two Baseball Bats for when he needs to mix it up in a traditional fighter's style.
Key upgrades include converting Cherished Keepsake to Grisly Totem for additional Skill recovery (as well as boosting the Skill in question), the upgraded Peter Sylvestre (naturally), Five of Pentacles to boost survivability, and Scrapper for even more power in his checks.
