Trish takes advantage of all the toys Scarlet Keys gave her.
- Mulligan Targets (in order of importance): Dr. Milan Christopher, Lola Santiago, Thieves' Kit, Empirical Hypothesis.
- Strategy: Discover clues to evade enemies and advance the act.
THE COUNCIL'S COFFERS - Scarlet Keys provided Trish Scarborough with a lot of toys, most notably Kicking the Hornet's Nest (draw an enemy, exhaust it, then get paid for doing so), Empirical Hypothesis (slotless Lucky Cigarette Case is good), and to a lesser degree Damning Testimony.
- At its core, this deck uses one of these new toys, Thieves' Kit, to help two older cards, Dr. Milan Christopher and Streetwise.
YOUR SIDE OF THE CONTRACT - Thieves' Kit, Dr. Milan Christopher, Lucky Cigarette Case, and Empirical Hypothesis reward you for doing what you were already planning to (investigating with 5-8 based on whether or not you decide to use Streetwise).
- Lola Santiago, Crack the Case, Damning Testimony, and Kicking the Hornet's Nest help you change your game plan, either providing resources or additional chances to trigger your .
- Captivating Discovery, "I'll take that!", and Kicking the Hornet's Nest help you build up your board state, either by finding what you need or getting it into play.
NEGOTIATING THE OTHER SIDE - "You handle this one!" and Logical Reasoning serve as your encounter protection.
- You don't carry any cards explicitly meant to tech against Shadow Agents, but between Lola Santiago's static boost, Manual Dexterity, and Streetwise, you should be able to evade them normally, potentially even triggering "I'll take that!".
OPEN TO NEGOTIATION - Potential cards to cut: Damning Testimony (it's a good Trish card, but maybe not for this Trish), Captivating Discovery (the tempo loss of dropping clues might be too much).
- Potential cards to add: Grim Memoir (allows for cycling of Thieves' Kit, and with Dr. Milan Christopher in play potentially turns an investigate action into an investigate, resource, and draw action), Friends in Low Places (really hard to decide between this and Captivating Discovery for card tutoring), Pathfinder (free move actions would be especially good for this deck).
- What If: Clue-Dropping Synergy
- Research Notes and Quick Study synergize well with Lucky Cigarette Case.
- Lola Santiago can turn dropped clues into evasions.

Hope this helps! |
First, nice deck! I also enjoy Scarlet Keys gifts that Trish may use. A few thoughts: It's hard for me to see why Thieves' Kit would be appropriate for this Trish. Yes, it gives resources for investigating like Dr. Milan Christopher does, but using [agility] instead of [intellect] is not really useful for this deck. The other cards boost intellect, not agility...
Why not replace that for a Lockpicks, Magnifying Glass, or Cryptographic Cipher?
Also, have you considered replacing Lola with Gené Beauregard? Gené's ability has a good synergy with Trish.
