Introduction
This is a Jenny Barnes deck I've been working on for quite a long time. Haven't been able yet to put it into action, but it seems promising. The concept is simple: You just collect clues. You 're building into a hoarder that only gets richer time by time and spends that money only to get more clues.
The level 0 version has room for some defensive tools, but these go away as soon as we get enough XP. We focus on clue gathering anyway, but we still keep some of our defensive tools. And since we have defensive tools, we can run Lone Wolf, which is important at the early stages of the campaign. This version is very simple. Just get clues and stay away from enemies.

If you 're not playing in TFA you can also consider getting Charon's Obol. Those last upgrades really push you up high.
How to play the deck:
1. Money
Hot Streak (2)/Hot Streak (4) and Easy Mark are the obvious ones. The less obvious and quite potent in this deck is Burglary. You have 4 different assets that boost . If you have all these down and active your goes up to 7 and I'm not even counting Well Connected. These are pretty good odds to make good profit out of Burglary. What's even better is that you can use it in conjunction with Haste for action compression and in combination with Momentum and Double or Nothing for really crazy outcomes. Just think of this: With all your assets down Lockpicks investigate at skill value of 11. You investigate with Lockpicks at a 3-or-less-shroud location and commit Momentum. If you succeed by at least 2, which is what is expected you reduce the shroud of the next investigation by 2-3. Then you activate Burglary and commit Double or Nothing to a reduced-difficulty test (probably even 0, which means there is no added difficulty), maybe also commit a Perception or Cunning and collect a ton of money. And suddenly you 're richer than ever. The greatest characteristic of this deck, is because of how Well Connected works, the more money you have, the more money you will make (hence the deck name). Whenever you use Well Connected on a Burglary test it adds up its skill value based on resources you currently have. This is also reflected by Jenny's . If you happen to draw an on a Burglary test you 'll get +1 resource per resource you have as an added bonus to your modified skill value. That's crazy value and it can get you I don't know how many resources. Just a lot.
2. Clues
This is the simplest of all. Just investigate. With Haste you can perform up to 4 investigate actions per turn. If you have enough resources (which you probably will), you can also activate Lola Santiago for an additional free clue, making a total of up to 5 clues per turn. That's incredible tempo.
3. Enemy Management
The upgraded version unfortunately does not have much of that, but you 're a cluever after all. The best you can do is count on Lola Santiago's boost and save a Cunning or 2 for evasion.
4. Action Compression
That's where Haste comes in and its effect is critical both for our performance as a clue gatherer and for our resource-making ability. The generic card draw it can offer is also very useful, as this deck is lacking a bit on this section. Below is a short list of possible combinations of actions you can perform with Haste:
-
Investigate (with Lockpicks) Investigate Investigate
-
Activate Lockpicks Activate Burglary Activate Dario El-Amin.
-
Draw Draw Draw
These 3 possible sequences of actions are important for the deck's performance, which makes Haste one of the most important cards in the deck.
5. Card draw
We 've invested a fair bit of deckspace on card draw as we need to find all our important assets and we need to find them fast. Easy Mark and All In will help a lot with the card draw but the trick mentioned earlier with Haste for 3 cards per 2 actions can also work. Above all, if you don't have anything else for card draw, use that trick.
6. Searching for Izzie
Your is rediculously high for this weakness to be a real problem, but in case you get into trouble, Perception and Momentum can help a lot with that. There's also Practice Makes Perfect which can search for these 4 cards, as well as let you get more milleage out of them.
Conclusion
Overall, I think this is a very interesting deck to play and will end up being a fun experience. I literally don't know how much money Jenny can make with this build, but I expect that she can make a lot. I haven't tried it yet and don't know when I 'll get the chance but I expect it to be a good experience overall. Just worried about enemy management a bit.
Anyway, thanks for reading and hope you enjoy if you play it.
