A-G-G-Y PUT MY NAME IN BOLD
Aggy's feeling fresh as hell in her new Track Shoes. Arm in arm with her boyfriend, she feels like queen of Arkham.
I choose Agnes for the 2nd Season of the League of Extraordinary Investigators because:
- Relatively few treacheries have tests, so Cancels are really important. Ward of Protection is clutch.
- The maps are huge, and I wanted to play a deck with either Track Shoes, Pathfinder, or Elusive.
- Carcosa is still below the new standard in XP prevalence, so i wanted either Delve Too Deep or Charon's Obol. And last season I lost to the Obol, so...
- Sixth Sense seems to make solo Mystic viable.
After some testing I took out Drawing Thin for Lucky! because I needed a way to pass Meat Cleaver and raw Intellect tests. Drawing Thin was mostly good in conjunction with Track Shoes, but without it my WP was too low to make the most of it.
Speaking of, I dropped Holy Rosary with the intent of upgrading to Peter [2] early on. This made Drawing Thin a bit worse, hence dropping that, and the tempo of the deck improved overall with 4 assets replaced by bangin' events like Fight or Flight and Trial by Fire.
The only problem with this is I don't have a good answer to Corrosion aside from Ward. It would be nicer to do a Wither / Sign Magick build to have some immunity to Corrosion, but I figured with Track Shoes being there anyway you kinda gotta deal.
Truthfully, I think Joe Diamond is the strongest solo investigator for Carcosa because neither WP or Evasion matter in this campaign, IMO. But I played Ursula last season and I wanted to switch up my class.
Anyways, wish me luck!
