PLEASE NOTE: This deck has been developed purely for fun, is an exercise in theorycraft, and has not been tested. Enjoy!

Arkham's most prominent psychic (and Ambien candidate) has a distinct advantage vs. the chaos bag, via her signature ability. This deck surrounds her with assets and spells to complement and augment that ability, as well as with attack spells to help her murder her way to a less nightmare-fueled future.

OVERVIEW

Primary Role: Combat (via Shrivelling and Spectral Razor)

Secondary Role: Chaos token mitigation (via her signature ability, Premonition, The Chthonian Stone, Seal of the Seventh Sign, and Eldritch Inspiration)

General Deck Concept: Jacqueline uses her high stat to inflict some arcane damage on enemies and support her Fight and other skill tests with chaos token selection, particularly to keep the auto-fail away. Drawn to the Flame and Read the Signs provide some clue-gathering support.

UPGRADE PATH

The deck only really requires the upgrades into Seal of the Seventh Sign and Twila Katherine Price (and maybe Moment of Respite to deal with horror), so the remaining upgrades are just to improve the effectiveness of Lvl 0 cards. The inclusion of two Arcane Research are meant to jump start the Arcane upgrades between scenarios, and Jacqui can manage the horror.

GAMEPLAY NOTES

  • Be sure to get Shrivelling down as soon as you can, as your main job is to clear enemies off the board. Holy Rosary and Guts should give you the level to beat most enemy fight stats. Once you get her, Twila can help you keep on shrivellin' on.
  • All the while, put down the chaos mitigation pieces to help those skill checks out (yours and in multiplayer, others'). Also, the sooner this can be done, the stronger Arbiter of Fates will be to abuse Jacqui's signature ability, and it also makes it easier to find that when Dark Future pops up.
  • The Prophesy is included only to take advantage of doom in play from Arcane Initiate and David Renfield (prior to the upgrade to Twila in early pre-upgrade scenarios). Feel free to swap this out for your favorite skill (perhaps Defiance to continue the chaos mitigation train).
  • There is potentially a version of this deck that leans into the horror, utilizing St. Hubert's Key and getting down to that critical 3 sanity to use the desperate skills (mainly Say Your Prayers); not my cup of tea, but for those interested in riding that edge, you do you.

Are you sure that you can use Twila with the Seal? Her text specifically states "when you spend", and the seal requires you to "remove" a charge. Seems like it might be one of those tricky language things.

Oh that's right. Tricky wording there. At least Twila's still valuable for refreshing Shrivelling. Will edit the deck description to reflect. Thanks!
