Guide:

The main focus of this deck is not in support, but in obtaining a large number of skills for successful investigate, fight, skill tests and saves by dint of "Let me handle this!". This deck also has a guaranteed chance to fast-play needed assets (and have resources for it), it allows you to efficiently dig up the deck and with a high chance of finding the right cards, as well as literally "swim" in resources (for example, passively receiving +2 resources per turn Ancient Stone and Peter Sylvestre (of course, provided that you and Peter have horror) and +1 resource for each killed enemy Meat Cleaver).

Items and allies allow from the beginning of the game up you skills and to 5+. The Foolishness/ Peter Sylvestre will increase you to 3, which will also help with infrequent test (with this deck you will most often kill opponents, rather than evade them). As for the , in the beginning there can be problems with it, and you have to use Shrivelling. A little later, an Ace of Swords + Foolishness / Beat Cop will be able to raise your to 4. Using the "charged" Meat Cleaver and Keen Eye you can get enough for the fight.

At first, is good to “charge” the Meat Cleaver (lower your sanity to 3) using the Painkillers and St. Hubert's Key. For later campaigns (when you get a lot of mentals trauma) these cards will be replaced. If you really want to always play with a "charged" cleaver, you can try playing two "keys" in the deck (take the 2nd instead of the Holy Rosary" and do not change the "key" to the tarot card), as well as take Smoking Pipe and use the combination "Pipe + painkillers" that would quickly throw all the horror from a Foolishness on Carolyn (and at the same time charge the cleaver) but I gave up this idea. Our combination Liquid Courage + Fearless / token can remove all the horror from the Foolishness for 1 action.

The main cards in the deck are Meat Cleaver, Peter Sylvestre and Foolishness. Priorities of the Backpack : first Meat Cleaver/ Painkillers (if there is Peter Sylvestre) / Liquid Courage (if there is a Foolishness and Fearless) / Ancient Stone; then Fingerprint Kit/ Magnifying Glass / Holy Rosary (if the accessory slot is not already occupied), St. Hubert's Key/ (if the accessory slot is not already occupied, and you have resources); then others.

Mulligan: It is advisable to have in our opened hand main cards or a Backpack/Eureka!, and/or 1 tarot card.

First/second turn: We play card from Stick to the Plan (Emergency Cache/Ever Vigilant). This will immediately give you a large number of resources and skills. Remember that during the play of Ever Vigilant you can play your Backpack (whose ability will immediately work), and play the subsequent assets-card from the backpack, as if from a hand.

After receiving the Ancient Stone (whose test it is desirable to pass at least 6)” you will no longer have problems with resources (really, there will be a lot of them). I even tried to play with Protective Incantation - it turns out pretty well.

If you play solo, "Let me handle this!" is well replaced by Steadfast.
